Account Manager

Our technology allows consumers snap a photo or scan an image with their smart phones and purchase that item with a single click.  The focus of our approach is to take our core services and white label our technology into retailers’ apps and mobile web.  We also drive experiences with our core consumer apps, including SnipSnap, which reaches more than 5 million monthly users.

Presently Slyce is looking for an Account Manager to join our team. This position would be located at either Slyce’s office in   Philadelphia, PA or New Waterford, Nova Scotia, Canada.  The primary responsibility of Account Manager is to work with the Sales & Client Management team in helping establish, grow and maintain partnership opportunities.  The Account Manager will assist the Sales & Client team in completing a board variety of client facing and administrative tasks.



  • Assisting in the coordination of client meetings for extremely active calendar of appointments
  • Assisting in arranging and coordinating internal meetings, events, training, off-sites and other company functions
  • Recording, transcribing and distributing minutes of meetings
  • Working closely and effectively with the Executive(s) to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately
  • Arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas
  • Creating and compiling sales and marketing documents and presentations for travel-related meetings
  • Interacting with external clients and vendors
  • Working closely with Account Management to support the account base through direct customer contact via phone and email and communication with internal teams
  • Monitoring, screening, sorting, responding to and distributing incoming communications
  • Filing and retrieving corporate documents, records and reports
  • Conducting research, collecting and analyzing data to prepare reports and documents
  • Assisting in maintenance of sales and client management CRM database
  • Coordinating projects with internal staff at all levels
  • Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%)
  • Other functions customary to the position will be assigned as needed

Our Criteria:

  • 2+ years’ experience of account management or customer management experience   
  • Client experience in working with enterprise level or Fortune 500 companies
  • Technology or SaaS experience
  • Retailer customer service experience 
  • Post-secondary courses/certificate in office administration an asset
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills
  • Basic graphic design and desktop publishing (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proven track record of excelling in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • A driven self-starter able to adapt to changes of a start-up environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to take initiative
  •  Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours
